I hope you are all enjoying the build up to Christmas. I recently met up with Saibh Egan, a fashion photographer based in Galway, to work on a few new looks for the blog. I actually styled a shoot for Saibh last September that will be featured in a national newspaper in the new year. The theme of the shoot was Ethical Clothing, which was really interesting and educational! I couldn't believe the choice I had when sourcing pieces for the shoot. I guess I had this preconceived notion that the clothes would be overpriced and not very fashionable. As it turned out, it was quite the opposite as I was spoilt for choice, with labels such as People Tree, Noir Ada Zanditon and Irish designers Lisa Ryder and Natalie B Coleman. I sourced a few pieces for the shoot from a shop in Galway called "Sirona". Sirona is one of these hidden gems that is definitely worth the visit. I loved one of the jumpers (featured here) so much I had to buy one. The shirt I'm wearing is from Maje, one of my favourite French labels along with its sister brand Sandro. My bag is Chloe. This is my most expensive purchase to date! It was bought with a combination of BT vouchers and savings! It is three years old and I think it looks as good as the day I got it. I enforce a strict no biro and liquids rule after destroying a Marc Jacobs bag some time ago...we live and learn!!
