Are you one of those people who think they can't wear a hat? If so, I hope this makes you reconsider! I fully understand (from experience!) that shopping for a hat to suit you can be a difficult process, particularly for formal occasions. But casual, informal hats are one of the best accessories to any outfit. I'm talking beanies, fedoras, skullies, turbans or even a baseball hat! It can be one of those fashion pieces that can really set you apart. When shopping for a hat I think a lot of different factors come in play; hair length, shape of face, height, occasion, season, fabric, colouring etc. But don't let this scare you away. There are so many benefits to wearing a hat, the most practical being warmth, but it really can instantly transform a look. They are also a savior for covering up a bad hair day, not to mention camouflaging those nasty roots! I love wearing hats especially when my hair is straight. Last weekend we were meeting up with friends and family for a bite to eat and a walk around the shops so I thought it was a perfect occasion to wear one of my many hats. It's winter guys, embrace the hat!
