I hope you all had a good weekend. I had my ten year college reunion this weekend in Galway. I have such happy memories from that time in my life, as it was when I met my husband and some of my best friends. It was great catching up with everyone, especially with the people I hadn't seen since my graduation. It is so crazy how much all our lives have evolved and changed over that time! The night was such a success we decided to make it an annual event (I put up a few pics on my Instagram).
Winter coats are synonomous with darker colours and heavier fabrics, but this season there is no shortage of bright hues and bold shades. This is why I have already bought two coats this season and have to keep myself from the temptations of some of the new stock arriving in (especially in Sandro)! I think it's great to wear colours in the winter especially when the weather is so miserable out, plus I think the bolder colours complement the Irish skin tones. Topshop has a great selection of coats to choose from. I couldn't decide initially whether to go with pink or green, but decided to go with the green because of its uniqueness. Although the green is quite restrictive with what it can be worn with, I love how unusual the colour is. The price was great but I think, if i'm totally honest, the quality isn't the best, especially when compared to my pink coat from Hobbs. The jeans I acquired from a friend of mine. My white shoes and the bag are both from River Island. White shoes can sometimes be considered a little naff but there is something about them, for me, I just like. I guess you would call them my guilty pleasure! I love the real leather leopard print bag from River Island, I think it works really well with the coat.
I hope you enjoyed this post. My next post is on 'Dressing for Success'. Have a nice week!
